What this site is
Jakarta Tourism Guide publishes editorial travel information about Jakarta. It is not a travel agency, tour operator, booking platform or accommodation provider. It takes no reservations, holds no customer bookings, handles no payments and enters into no contract with you for travel services of any kind. Any booking you make is made directly with a hotel, airline, operator or platform, and your relationship is with them.
Accuracy, and the limits of it
Guides here are researched carefully and reviewed on a schedule, but Jakarta moves faster than any publication schedule. Fares on the MRT, TransJakarta and the KRL Commuter Line change. Restaurants close, relocate and change their prices. Museums alter opening hours around Ramadan, Idul Fitri and national holidays. Rupiah prices and the exchange rate you get on the day will both differ from the figures quoted. Traffic conditions make every journey time on this site an estimate rather than a promise.
Information is therefore provided on an “as is” basis, without warranty that it is complete, current or fit for a particular purpose. Verify anything your trip depends on — a flight connection, a visa requirement, an opening time, a price — with the operator or authority responsible for it before you rely on it.
